It was one of his earlier works. In the game manual he used the pseudonym Kentaro Hayabusa. This game was also planned to be released for Famicom Disk System and PC-88, but those versions were cancelled in the end due to Square not being happy with the quality. There is another Aliens game for the MSX, and other 8-bit computers, called "Aliens: The Computer Game", which is totally different from this one (not to be confused with Activision's game of the same name from 1986, which was released in the US for the Commodore 64, Apple II, and ZX Spectrum). That one was developed and published by Electric Dreams Software in 1987 in Europe, and ported to the MSX by Mr. Micro.
