In Garbage Truck Simulator, you take the wheel of a garbage truck and go around town collecting garbage in forms of bags, bins, and containers. Then to take that garbage to a plant to be sent to a landfill, supposedly. NOTE: The gameplay is abridged due to the time it takes to go from the 1st point to the 2nd. So I left out the parts where I just drive on the road and obey all the traffic laws. On for the review: Wow, this has to be one of the worst simulator games I've ever played. It's bad enough that this pile of garbage has its share of boring gameplay, constant system crashes, lack of tutorials, and being partially unplayable. First of all, what kind of enthusiasts would ever be interested in collecting garbage (expect for those who would like to do so for a living). Second, there's an annoying concept of areas being loaded when you enter different areas and it's very time consuming. Third, the acceleration of the trucks in this game are horrendous; most of the time they take their time trying to get up to speed, which is extremely annoying. Fourth, the gameplay is just tedious, most of the time you're just driving around the blocks to get to the designated areas and already you would be bored just doing the same thing over and over again. Fifth, this game is partially unplayable by using a particular truck, the roof-loader (10 jobs must be complete in order to unlock this truck). The moment the container is in front of the truck, the game partially freezes (the time and cars are still running, but I can't do anything else), the only thing to do is restart the game. Sixth, the controls for the collector (the person behind the truck) are just mediocre; when in 3rd person view, the camera won't sit still and wonders all around while you're trying to control the person. It's awful and painful because you try to go in one direction and the game wants to go another direction and it's severely difficult to get the collector to go where you want him to go. And the seventh and most recognizable flaw is the lack of tutorials; the game tells you the controls for the truck and the person who collects the garbage, but doesn't say anything about how to switch between the two. I find this inexcusable because this switch is critical in all jobs. For beginners, it's completely frustrating because you don't know how to switch from the truck to the collector. Why couldn't there be a tutorial to this game, it's a load of horse shit! Overall, it's horrible and, no matter how you look at it, it's absolutely atrocious! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME! Please take my word for it since this is coming from my experience. Should've just remove the words "Truck Simulator 2011" and just have "Garbage" for the title because that's where this game belongs.
