IIIIIIIIT'S TIIIIIIIIIME!! We finally get the time to pull the engine out of the Eclipse GST. After some methodical parts planning and horsepower aspirations, I finally chose a path to take. The original plan was to beef up the top end (heads, cams, gears, belts), upgrade the turbo and ECU and tune her up. Alas, t'was not to be. After doing a leak down test, we discovered cylinder 3 was having some issues, which only solidified my ambitions to dive into the block and build up the bottom end. Of course, the leak could have meant valve issues but.......let's just say it's a piston ring issue... Let the build begin!!!
