Elissa is a Jehovah's Witness and attends meetings three times a week. If science were to show that scriptures, archaeology, etc were not supernatural, she would still believe by faith, which she defined as "the assured expectation of things not seen". I got the impression that Elissa became uncomfortable near the end of the talk when faith came up, but she clearly indicated that she was done with the conversation before we could explore that. I'd love to run into Elissa again with more time so we could examine the reliability of that method in determining truth. I can only imagine what progress I could have made with ten more minutes.
