[Me]: Sleep really is the most broken status effect. Dammit Rutee. [Muctales]: Unfortunately, her moveset is fairly limited, so a full run with her would eventually get annoying. [Me]: Well now I have to try it! Note to self: Talking to Muc gives me baaaaad ideas. Anyway. I've wanted to do this for a while now, but I never built up the motivation to do it. I don't know if I'll be able to finish this run, but here's hoping for the best. Rutee is the most limited character in the game in terms of covering weaknesses, and has only a few physical artes. Her defense and physical attack are abysmal, and her armour has worthless effects when it comes to a solo. This makes her....less than ideal for this. It doesn't help that Water is a rather rare weakness among bosses. Still, she has arguably the best status ailment, Sleep, which guarantees a Critical hit and restores some CC. I put the first few bosses together, since they last barely a minute. Seingald Soldiers: This boss is fairly simple. Walk to one side to lure the enemies, then jump over their heads and start casting. Ice Wall casts very fast and offers protection by stopping the enemies in their tracks. Sleep restores CC and guarantees Criticals. From there on, it's just a matter of a stable Ice Wall - Ice Tornado loop with Embrace End sealing the deal. Basilisks: This one actually takes more preparation than it looks. The Basilisks resist Slash and Rutee's few Blow attacks are worthless in this situation. I got around this by equipping Mary with the Ring Armour. It gives her attacks the Wind attribute, which the Basilisks are weak against. While not weak to Water, the Basilisks are vulnerable to spells so Icicle does a good job taking chunks of their health off. Once they've stupidly huddled themselves together, a simple Snipe Air will scratch them enough for the weakness to take effect and a Mystic Arte to finish them off. This might be the only time I use Life Discharge. Kongman: I....have no excuse for this. It was literally the first, spontaneous take that I did and he just...popped. I laughed so much that I just had to keep it. Anyway, the next video is where the real bosses start.
