Women Of Drag: A conversation with Faux Queens and Drag Kings
During this fireside chat, we came together to hear compelling stories from four Women of Drag. What unites us is our shared experience of facing obstacles as marginalized people. You may have never heard of a Faux Queen or seen a Drag King, yet there exists a global community of performers whose stories mirror ours in the way we face adversity, fight to be seen and heard, and strive to live our authentic lives. Inspired by the captivating success of our Pride Month fundraiser and action-packed drag show at our HQ in June 2022, we welcomed guests to this opportunity for expanded awareness. Our guests shared insight into their history of working within a radically inclusive group of drag artists who strive to support and share the stage with any race, gender, religion, or culture.
