ROADMAP OF SALVATION DESCRIBED - Part 1 of 3 - Dr. Emeka Ozurumba @BRAZIL-USA Bible Study BLUEPRINT OF SALVATION – A RECAP OF GOD'S PURPOSE FOR US: This is the summary of everything – THE PURPOSE – one doing anything must start with a purpose – a purposeless individual runs in vain. So, the key issue is this – what I am listening to or walking in – is it really fulfilling the purpose – the foundation of God? Proverbs 16:6 – Let him or her purify him or herself as God is– 1 John 3:3 – this is also what God told Abraham –[Genesis 17:1]. Proverbs 16:17 – the highway of holiness and righteousness – the solid foundation of the upright is to depart from evil – if we do not depart from evil, we cannot walk with Him in His holiness – Isaiah 35:8-9 – that is the blueprint of salvation. A wise builder must build according to the building plans – 2 Timothy 2:3-5. God says (from the beginning of creation) – whatever you do, make sure that you do not disobey Me. Since you have disobeyed Me – turn away from your disobedience – don’t go back to it. Go and sin no more. What then is the blueprint of salvation? GRACE OF GOD DEFINED BY CHRIST – HIS BLUEPRINT OF SALVATION: The grace of God – Jesus Christ came from heaven and declared His grace in John 3:16-17. Grace is given to us for a purpose – to draw us to Himself. But He gives His grace to the humble person because the humble will use the grace and not frustrate it. The coming of Jesus Christ was the amazing grace of God. Those who will benefit are those who believe in Him, Jesus Christ. WHO IS THE ONE WHO BELIEVES (IN CHRIST)? 1. One who keeps every commandment of Christ – John 15:14; John 14:12. What works did Jesus Christ do? - every command of His Father. 2. One who does exactly what Christ did – John 13:15. God defined grace by Himself, so Christ came to ensure that those who have ears to hear will not be confused. Grace was defined in Titus 2:11-12. Scripture says come and get salvation. It is free, but you must incline your ears to hear – that is Grace – Isaiah 55:1-3. Matthew 11:27-30 – come for it is free, but if you be willing to come, take My yoke and learn from Me – you will get rest for your souls – salvation.
