Dry curly cut helps prevent over cutting and allows me (and the client) to see the true shape. I use kin cosmetics.com for most of my products. For this client I used a light leave in with moisture and smoothing properties and a hydrating strong gel for a good cast in addition to that I also used a volume thickening spray for extra volume. My recommendation for most curly friends is a good balance of moisture and protein with additional repair products once a week such as Olaplex #3 and a good protein repair mask (look for key words such as repair or reconstruct) Read ingredients! Be sure there’s a good plant protein closer to the top of the ingredients list.
