Another episode on the SeaWalker boat. First couple of hours produced no fish, and when the sun rose, we started to lose faith... I used a 150g silver/pink/blue slow jig. I practiced various techniques to move the jig - fast 1/4 handle turn, slow drop and others. Suddenly I felt a nice hit that yielded a 500g Blue spotted sea bream. After a while, we reached to a rocky bottom. I let the jig get to the bottom and reeled in a few meters. I was enticing the fish to attack with fast/slow movements of the jig. After few bounces, I had a fish on! The fish gave an enjoyful fight. It was a 1.5 kg Comb grouper. I thought I should release it, but the guys persuaded to keep and take it.
