Leica D-Lux8 Review from Hong Kong: 10 Year Anniversary Video!

This video is both my Leica D-Lux 8 long term review video, as well as my 10 year anniversary video since reviewing the original D-Lux Top 109 from Hong Kong. Time flies when you're having fun. As you guys know, I've always loved the D-Lux series, going all the way back to the D-Lux 4. After shooting with this series for over 15 years, what are my thoughts, including the latest D-Lux8? I've never had any delusions about what this camera can do and who it's for. As a competent photographer, I can choose to shoot with any camera and extract solid images out of it. The important thing is to enjoy carrying it around, and enjoy the process. That's it. Sensor size, resolution, autofocus speed, not the most important thing for me. In the end, a camera becomes an extension of my personality, shooting style, as well as my fashion sense. The D-Lux series has always appealed to me, even when I had 'better' cameras with me. Let me know what is your favourite point and shoot camera of all time, even if you no longer have it, and even if it's from 20-30 years ago. It doesn't have to be current. And let me know why it's your favourite. To me the why is more important than the what (meaning specs). Thanks for watching. As you can tell, I was pretty sick in this video, and had to go to the hospital right after. That's part of the reason for so many cuts.
