Phakic intraocular lens (PIOL) implantation is a suitable method to correct ametropia, especially high myopia. PIOLs are available in different shapes, designs, and materials. They also have different efficacy and safety profiles. Case description: A 36-year-old patient came to our clinics with blurred vision due to high myopia. The examination revealed the following refraction errors: RA: -12.0 -1.25 / 28 | BCVA = 1.0 LA: -9.25 -1.75 / 161 | BCVA = 1.0 Therefore, we decided to implant Iris claw (Artisan) phakic IOL (PIOL) in the anterior chamber in both eyes.
