Today, Scott and I fished on the Moccas Fishery on the Middle Wye near Bredwardine, Herefordshire. We purchased our tickets direct from http://www.redlion-hotel.com/salmonfi... They have some 8 miles of the river known as The Moccas Fishery located at Bredwardine between Hay-on-Wye and Hereford. Centrally located on what for many years has been regarded as one of the finest Salmon fishing rivers in the country, and famous the quality of its "Springers", the fishery is well known for providing good sport throughout the year. Lying roughly mid-way along the length of the river Wye The Moccas Fishery offers a superb variety of characteristics from gravel beds, with streamy runs and deep pots, down to slower moving water over red bedrock, underwater ledges and dark pools. My channel is called Cornish Chris the Fish. I am a Cornishman venturing out beyond the Duchy to experience life on the road full time touring in my Caravan Dalleth Arta, fly fishing and vlogging my adventure.
