A fantasy action-rpg game, considered to be a cult classic, mainly in Germany and Eastern/Central Europe (Wohooo). Played in 1920x1080 resolution, highest possible settings, using zHighqualitydetails 1 in the console, and 8xMSAA, with a Xbox Series Gamepad (yes, it is playable!). Latest steam version, much improved due to last patch, you can play in 120hz even, and the ladders aren't your biggest enemy! I haven't really played or finished Gothic for more than 10 years now, but apparently I remember all the important things. And oh boy, it went so smoothly. I became a literal god about half point of the game. This is definitely NOT a blind playthrough, it's a playthrough of someone who knows in most cases exactly what to do. Consider it as a somewhat experienced player/expert walkthrough of the Brotherhood of the Sleeper sect. I chose it, because I believe it's the least... popular, and attractive faction to the players. Most people that chose it, it's probably because hehe rasta, weed, all that crap. But I've chosen to be Sleeper's true believer. Until we realised the you-know-what about him. Old Camp or New Camp are miles ahead, or so I believe. Also, it's only the second ever longplay of Gothic on the whole of internet. That one was played as the New Camp path. Old Camp is too timid and "standard" for my taste. Also, bye bye Raven, hopefully you won't resurrect to stir up some shit in the sequel /s. It's ultra janky, brutal, and non-friendly to newbs. But there is no other game that showed a fantasy world that is so believable you could actually think it's real. A great early 00's RPG. And that's just part my nostalgia speaking. 9/10 rating.
