In Part 4 of our Backrooms series, we are giving the player "hands." A horror game isn't scary if you can't interact with the world. Today, we build a flexible Interaction System from scratch using RayCast3D. We will write a script that allows the player to open physics-based doors, pick up narrative items (tapes), and display context-sensitive UI prompts.
