Discover how the Brooks Ghost Max 2 builds on its predecessor (the Ghost Max), and how its unique technologies could help you stride comfortably on every run or walk. The Brooks Ghost Max 2 are not - as the name might suggest - a maximum cushioned version of the popular Brooks Ghost. In comparison to the regular Ghost, the Ghost Max 2 has a higher stack height, lower heel-to-toe drop (6mm) and curved heel-to-toe geometry - named GlideRoll technology - that actively promotes smooth heel-to-toe transitions. The main difference between the Ghost Max (v1) and Ghost Max 2 is that the midsole has changed from Brooks' DNA Loft v2 cushioning to Brooks' DNA Loft v3 cushioning. DNA Loft V3 is a nitrogen-infused foam which is lighter, softer and more energy returning than the v2 version. As a result, the Brooks Ghost Max 2 should feel softer and more comfortable underfoot than the previous version. The Ghost Max 2 retains its broad base, which offers inherent stability for a secure feel. And retains its signature GlideRoll Rocker technology, which helps to decrease underfoot pressure, for a protective feel and easy landings. Best for? The Ghost Max 2 are best for runners who want cushioned protection and a smooth, reliable ride – for slow and steady runs. They should feel particularly good if you suffer from tight calf muscles or foot discomfort such as plantar fasciitis. It's worth noting the broad base and unique linear last mean the Ghost Max 2 should accommodate insoles and orthotics really well. Shop the Brooks Ghost Max: https://www.run4it.com/collections/br...
