JOIN ME ON PATREON:   / themobreporter   Police in Washington, D.C., are asking for help to identify the late-night Subway sub shop bandit. A man is seen on surveillance video breaking into a Subway shop on G Street NW at 1:49 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019. He walks around the place, grabs a bag of chips and then decides he wants something more. He putters about looking for the ingredients, finds a bun and then turns to the counter to make it. Police edited out the footage of him actually making the sandwich, so we don’t know how much of a sandwich artist he is, but officers said he made a chicken sub before leaving. The Subway is about half way between George Washington University and the White House. The Washington, D.C.
