Noah Never Warned His Contemporaries Nor Preached To Them Whilst Building The Ark: Genesis 6:7-8 So Jehovah said: “I am going to wipe men whom I have created off the surface of the ground, man together with domestic animals, creeping animals, and flying creatures of the heavens, for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah. Genesis 6;13 After that God said to Noah: “I have decided to put an end to all flesh, because the earth is full of violence on account of them, so I am bringing them to ruin together with the earth. It was already decided that no contemporaries of Noah other than himself and his household, had any chance of surviving what was going to happen. The Bible is clear on this matter. It would have no meaning to warn or preach, but perhaps Noah did before building the Ark or after the Great Flood. (2 Peter 2:5 "preacher of righteousness") Hebrews 11:7 ...and through this faith he (Noah) condemned the world, and he became an heir of the righteousness that results from faith. That's more clear, it was all about his faith and not about warning or preaching to people who were doomed to die, without any chance of survival. Noah simply obeyed instructions to build an Ark where only he and his household were destined to survive in. By building the Ark without questioning, Noah condemned the world and became a "preacher of righteousness". He earned these titles because in Genesis 6:9 it says: "Noah was a righteous man. He proved himself faultless among his contemporaries. Noah walked with the true God." So obviously he was a faithful preacher of righteousness well before God instructed him to build an Ark. Noah never warned or preached whilst building the Ark. Also it could never take more than 100 years to build the Ark because it is clearly written in Genesis 5;32 that Noah was 500 years old before he became father, and that was before he was told to build an Ark. In Genesis 7:6 it is written that Noah was 600 years old when the flood came. So he could never ever build the Ark over a time-period of 100 years or more. 20-80 years is more likely, though the Bible doesn't give an exact time-period. It might as well have been 5-10 years. It also makes perfect sense to assume that Noah did not build the Ark in plane view of everyone, amidst his corrupted contemporaries so they could damage or destroy it, but rather he built it out of sight on his own property. Furthermore and lastly, no other Bible translation other than the 'New World Translation', makes mention of Jesus saying that "they took no note". It's not even in the Interlinear translations. What was said by Jesus can be translated as: they were unaware of what was happening, yet they did not realize what was happening, they knew nothing, they did not know, and so forth. You may want to do some research on that. There were never any contemporaries mocking Noah or banging on the door of the Ark begging to let them in. It simply never happened. It's nowhere in the Bible.
