The bookings for the mid-size SUV had opened on the same day via the automaker's website and 100+ sales touchpoints across 85 cities. The Skoda Kushaq has reportedly garnered more than 2,000 bookings till now. The Skoda Kushaq is the maiden vehicle to be introduced under Volkswagen Group's India 2.0 project, which is being spearheaded by Skoda Auto. The vehicle is based on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN variant of Volkswagen Group's MQB-AO platform.
