Mirrorless vs DSLR for wildlife photography is a great discussion around the campfire when I'm on safari. Just like me, so many photographers are hesitant to switch from mirrorless to DSLR because they are worried about things like image quality and battery power. In this video, I share five reasons why I switched from mirrorless to DSLR for wildlife photography specifically, and those reasons are: 1) Second-hand DSLR cameras are drastically decreasing in value; 2) Mirrorless cameras have brand new technology; 3) The image quality of mirrorless cameras are now as good, if not better than that of DSLR cameras; 4) You can shoot at very high frame rates on a mirrorless camera; 5) You can see the effect of exposure compensation when you look through a mirrorless camera's electronic view finder. There are probably more reasons why you would want to switch from DSLR to mirrorless for wildlife photography and I'd love for you to let me know in the comments below. In fact, do you think there are any disadvantages to using a mirrorless camera as opposed to a DSLR when you photograph wildlife? If you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe and comment!
