Stop pretending you're not angry. The Bible says do THIS instead. Your blood is boiling. Someone just disrespected you, betrayed you, or crossed a line. And every Christian voice in your head is screaming "calm down, just forgive, let it go." But you can't. Because the anger is REAL. And pretending it isn't doesn't make you spiritual—it makes you a liar. Here's the truth most Christians miss: The Bible doesn't say "don't get angry." Ephesians 4:26 says "In your anger, do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." Paul ASSUMES you will get angry. He doesn't command you to never feel it—he commands you to HANDLE it righteously. Jesus got violently angry. He made a whip, drove money changers out of the temple, overturned tables, scattered coins, created chaos. Was He sinning? No. He was expressing righteous indignation at the exploitation of worship. Anger isn't your enemy. How you handle it determines whether it becomes sin or righteousness. 🔥 THE 3 BIBLICAL STEPS WHEN ANGER HITS: 1️⃣ FEEL IT HONESTLY (00:05:01) Stop spiritualizing your way around genuine emotion. Pour out your actual heart to God—the rage, the hurt, the desire for revenge. No spiritual filter. Just raw truth. Psalm 62:8 says "pour out your hearts to him." Not sanitized prayers. Your ACTUAL heart. 2️⃣ FRAME IT CORRECTLY (00:07:21) Ask yourself: Is this anger about God's honor or my ego? Would I still be angry if this happened to someone else? What do I want—revenge or restoration? Most of your anger (and mine) is selfish anger, not righteous anger. These 3 questions change everything. 3️⃣ FINISH IT QUICKLY (00:13:01) Don't let the sun go down while you're still angry. This isn't poetic language—it's a TIME LIMIT. Anger allowed to simmer becomes bitterness. And bitterness is cancer (Hebrews 12:15). Choose: Confront (Matthew 18:15), Forgive (release your right to revenge), or Redirect (channel righteous anger into righteous action). This isn't about suppressing anger. It's about STEWARDING it. Every day you carry anger, it gets heavier. Before you know it, anger isn't your emotion—it's your IDENTITY. And bitterness poisons YOU, not them. ⏰ TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - The Anger Cycle Every Christian Knows 00:26 - What Actually Happens When Anger Hits 01:14 - The Problem: You've Been Taught Wrong 02:04 - What The Bible ACTUALLY Says About Anger 02:56 - Ephesians 4:26 Destroys The Myth 05:01 - Step 1: FEEL IT HONESTLY (Stop Pretending) 07:21 - Step 2: FRAME IT CORRECTLY (3 Diagnostic Questions) 10:06 - The 3 Questions That Change Everything 13:01 - Step 3: FINISH IT QUICKLY (Before Sundown) 16:13 - Why The Time Limit Matters 17:15 - Your Challenge: Identify The Anger You're Carrying 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES: • Ephesians 4:26-27 - "In your anger do not sin" • Psalm 62:8 - "Pour out your hearts to him" • James 1:19-20 - "Be slow to anger" • Hebrews 12:15 - "See to it that no bitter root grows up" • Matthew 18:15 - "Go and point out their fault" • Psalm 109 - David's raw, honest anger before God 💬 COMMENT BELOW: Which step is hardest for you?
