The 78th Anniversary Martyrs’ Day was observed at the Martyrs’ Mausoleum in Yangon on 19th July. Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony, and cordially greeted the family members of martyrs and guests. After that, the Prime Minister laid wreaths of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at the mausoleum and paid tribute to late General Aung San and martyrs. Union Ministers, Work Committee Chairman Yangon Region Chief Minister, senior military officers from the Commander-in-Chief Office, Commander of Yangon Command, deputy Ministers and attendees also paid tribute to fallen leaders.
