This video demonstrates the workflow and transition from manufacturing fascia using silicone moulds to resin printing. Silicone moulds have a limited lifespan, and the mould needs to be remade after a certain number of casts. Transferring to a resin-printed workflow has many benefits, including reduced labour as there's no mould to remake, component consistency between prints, and broader material choices. To achieve this, I scanned the master fascia I had hand-made using the Creality Raptor Pro scanner, reverse-engineered it in Fusion 360, and then printed it on the HeyGears Reflex 2. Now that I have a 3D model of the fascia, I can also mirror it, allowing me to easily and accurately create a left-hand drive version without needing a left-hand drive vehicle to test the fit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scanner (Raptor Pro) provided by @Creality3DScanner https://store.creality.com/uk/product...
