Ask me anything... "What part of your shadow has been the hardest to love?" I love this question because our shadow isn't where we're "bad," it's where our oldest strategies live, the ones that once kept us safe and connected. And in the video, I'm sharing a pattern that has shaped much of my life: the part of me that reflexively steps into helping, fixing, rescuing before anyone ever asks. It took me a long time to see that this wasn't pure generosity. It was an inherited role, one l absorbed early on in life, and it carried an unconscious exchange underneath. I would give and give and give... and then feel the subtle rise of resentment when that invisible transaction wasn't tultilled. Nobody did anything wrong, I had just entered an energetic agreement they never agreed to. Overgiving isn't kindness, it's a form of overfunctioning. And it pulls us out of true connection with ourselves and others. The deeper work has been learning what a clean energy exchange feels like, offering support only when invited, honoring my own limits, and giving in a way that doesn't expec anything in return. That shift has brought more balance, more ease, and a kind of relational clarity I didn't have before. When we understand the shadow beneath our helping, we stop rescuing to feel worthy and start relating from a place of steadiness and choice. #ShadowWork #Overgiving #PeoplePleasing
