BNSF 3 way train meet and a very late Amtrak Empire Builder #8 (Skykomish, WA) - 08/21/2024

Another one I shot this summer and never got to uploading. We arrived to Skykomish just before 8 PM to find an Eastbound empty oil train waiting in the siding. While it was in the siding, another Eastbound (an empty coal) pulls up to West Sky and turns off their headlights. We soon see why as a Westbound intermodal appears and stops on the main track. The oiler then heads east and the coal train follows hot on its heels to take its place in the siding before the westbound can move down the hill. Unfotunately my battery died right as the WB was leaving so we only got a bit of that.
