Generations Growing Together in Keighley

At Sue Belcher Community Centre in Keighley, Trees for Cities has been working closely with local groups including Keighley Lions Rotary Club, One in a Million youth charity, Fruit Works, YORGreenCIC, and dedicated centre volunteers to co-design and plant a woodland for the local community, adding to the fruit trees we planted at the start of the year. But the benefit of the orchard goes beyond the fruit, as people of all ages come together to enjoy growing and nurturing their shared community space, strengthening community connections and creating a lasting legacy for the neighbourhood.
