Looking for easy no stress Slow Stitching that can be completed in one sitting? Do you find penguins as cute as I do? Stitch along! In this project I trace the penguin shape using a template (link below), stitch the outline of the bird and then strategically add lace in off white and black. I add slow stitching lines in the background, use the blanket stitch on the edges and even add some seed beads to make it look like it’s snowing. Follow along and make your own. Turn your completed piece into a rug mug, a brooch, a darning patch, attach it to a canvas or frame it as a work of art! Slow stitching this way is so relaxing because you don’t have to think about following a complex pattern or worry about your stitches being perfect. It’s all about free flowing relaxing creativity.
