Leon H. Cook and Ruth Hills Cook travelled from New York to Sweden in December 1932 but most of this film is from is January - March 1933. In late 1932 he was sent from New York to Stockholm to carry out assignments for Marine Midland and for the Kreuger & Toll Bankruptcy Trustees, following a financial scandal. They lived in Stockholm until October 1934, and their son (who sadly passed in 2025) was born there. She was heavily pregnant on the way over, and the older woman with her appears to be her mother. I think footage at the start was on the SS Bremen, and some of the footage was out of the window at what seems to be Karlaplan 11, Stockholm. Is that possibly Skansen in there too?
