Our Garden in Kent. 4th April ‘25.

I did this video on the morning of the 4th April 2025. I missed one rose, Climbing Iceberg and didn't film all the Clematis either. Things will perhaps be more interesting when more plants are in flower. It was just such a beautiful day; got up to 22'C. A few plants have left here recently - given to good homes. More to go as and when including tomatoes. Wood pigeons are a real pest here as I mentioned. Whatever I did to scare them off last year didn't work and they just ate all the flower buds on the Wisteria. They attack the honeysuckle plants too. As I mentioned, one of the honeysuckle plants, Mint Crisp, has died. I don't know if it was just it's age or because the pigeons just wouldn't leave it alone last year and it just gave up. Three new roses planted this year. Papi Delbard, Meg and Celine Forestier. It'll be interesting to see how they do. I did a video a month ago about 'Notching' on my roses. I'll do another one in a day or two's time. Video's a bit long this time so will endeavour to make future ones a bit shorter. The sheepdog Meg I mentioned belongs to a friend. He has two working sheepdogs and sheep, the other dog is Nell. They're both lovely. Cheers! P.
