Dr. P. Ramesh Kumar, who runs a clinic in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, has been providing medical care to the underprivileged for the last 34 years. Encouraged by his father, Dr. Ramesh began his practice with the goal of serving the community and continues to charge a very nominal fee for his services. People can be seen waiting in queues outside Dr. Ramesh's clinic, eagerly awaiting their turn for a check-up. Many call him their Messiah, praising his selfless service to the poorest of the poor, including slum dwellers, rickshaw pullers, and cart pullers. Dr. P.
