IG: monkey.business.hk / monkey.business.hk IG: watercolor.coke / watercolor.coke So i took the #kodakektarh35 for a walk in kowloon city #九龍城, a vanishing place full of local stores and food, being teared apart by the HK g_v . Show you around, record the last moments of this place with some sample photos taken by the h35. Pros: double number of shots half frame fun (displaying 2 pics side by side, telling 1 story with 2 shots) light weight built in flash Cons: feels plastic, cheap lens -sharp only at center lens -22mm a bit too wide for me Thoughts: Over 72shots in a 36exposures roll of film 📸🎞️ This camera is super light, feels like a cheap plastic toy, nothing to do with built n/ image quality.. this cam is all about half frame fun There is nothing u can set, focus, shutter spd, apreture, no nth. It allows u to focus on things happening ard, wt interest u, wt is the story abt, simply point n shoot. The only thing u hv to decide is when to put on the flash. F9.5 1/100s 22mm everything behind a few fts will be in focus It encourages u to try different angles/ taking shots of subjects that u normally wldnt, coz u know hv double no. of shots now n u r always thinking to show 2 pics side by side, it makes u to really start thinking about the story, bcoz u hv that sub pic to tell more, trying new angles, explore interesting subjects,, Its sharp at the middle, very blury at the corners, feels like lomo. 22mm is bit too wide for me, u hv to come really close to your subject for doing like a portrait. i used to take snapshot like 35/ 50mm, didnt realize ended up taking so many of streetscapes, may because of the wide lens, you need to get very close to shoot smaller subjects / portraits, which is not practical in the street. Also, if u get that close to subjects, could be over exposed by the flash easily. I think the pics come out wider than i saw it in the viewfinder (I am not sure about this), bothers me sometimes though i had lots of fun taking pics with it, walking around the vanishing #kowlooncity city. #kowlooncity
