The competitiveness of agro-based Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Uganda remains on the test, made difficult by increasing the cost of doing business. A cross section of the business community faults structural issues which they say are negatively affecting the efficiency of related govt agencies such as URA and UNBS in supporting operations of MSMEs.
