Minimise tyre wastage with this dedicated system for OTR bead repair. Repairing minor damage in the bead area can dramatically reduce costly tyre wastage. This new solution for mid-range radial OTR tyres covers sizes up to 45/65R45 and is the only system designed for bead sole widths of 2 to 4’’. Monaflex has the only hot vulcanisation system able to conform perfectly to the profile of the bead in OTR radial tyres. A single heat pad wraps around the area to provide uniform temperature whilst the flexible, inflatable airbags ensure perfect conformity to the bead. Rapid assembly – the heat pad and airbag are supplied as a single unit which can be dropped in place over the bead damage. The operator can then quickly lock the frame together, secure it in place using the strap, and switch the unit on. No single part weighs more than 9kg, which means a single operator can use the system quickly and easily. Monaflex's hot vulcanisation technology delivers repairs that last the distance.
