Today we finally took the King Turbo Hayabusa sandrail (car #24) out for its first real shakedown run — and instead of hitting the dunes right away, we brought it out on the streets to see what this thing is made of. This Turbo Kit is from Tom Pro. This rail is running a Hayabusa engine with a turbo setup, lightweight chassis, long-travel suspension, and a whole lot of attitude. The goal was simple: check for leaks, dial in the throttle response, test the gearing, listen for anything sketchy, and make sure everything works before the big dune trip. From the first pull, this thing absolutely rips. The acceleration is insane, the chassis feels tight, and hearing that turbo spool on pavement is just next-level.
