It seems that every time archaeologists turn over a spade of dirt in the Holy Land they discover a new find that confirms the validity of the Bible and the Christian faith. In this episode we look at the Megiddo Mosaic which is currently on display in the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. The mosaic was discovered in 2005 and it was from a Christian prayer house and was financed by a Roman officer. The most crucial message found in the ancient tile work is the expression that Jesus is God. This astounding discovery is considered to be as significant as the Dead Sea Scrolls and it shows that early Christians had a solid theology of who Jesus is. They affirmed and believed that He was God, just as the Gospels and the New Testament epistles declare.
