I'll put a link down below for anyone looking to purchase this product. Ok now let's get right into it. I'm gonna start off by showing you guys the water behavior before washing the car. As you can see, the side of the car has a decent amount of build up on it. They've been salting the roads for the last week or so and its been about 3 weeks since I last washed this car. It did very well so far in the summer as we saw with the 2 month update but since then, we had a tonne of rain fall and now the temperature is starting to drop quickly. It's 2 degrees Celsius today with the temperature dropping below 0 during the night. That's about 32 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for my US viewers. As you can already see, even with the car being dirty, there is evidence that the Ceramic Wax is still holding up. Now ill go ahead and give the car a contact wash using a ph neutral soap with no waxes or gloss enhancing polymers added. This will be the 7th wash since applying the wax. As I rinsed the car off, I can tell you that while the hydrophobic properties have taken a hit, the water is still beading and sheating. The bottom half of the doors and the rocker panels took the biggest hit but that is to be expected as that is where most of the road film will build up. After washing, I completely dried off the left rear door and You'll see later that both left side doors sheet at the same pace indicating that there is no soap residue left on the car to influence the water behavior. Overall, I'm very happy with how this has held up after 4 months of Pacific north west weather and now we will get to see if it can survive another 2 months of road salt and cold temperatures.
