Broadcast only once on Fuji Television on Sunday July 7, 1974, it aired as: '[Behind the Scenes] Young Guys in the Beatles Kingdom - Badfinger'. Also known as the 'Badfinger Japanese TV Documentary'. This short film contains BBC radio footage, rehearsal room footage, live performance footage, a quick glimpse into each members personal life and history, Bill Collins wedding, Etc.. The documentary showcases their popularity in Japan at the time. It even includes glimpses of Bill's Son, Lewis Collins organizing his father's wedding reception at the home he shared with the group on 7 Park Avenue in Golders Green, London. Snippets of this film have been leaked over the years, but this is the entire film in full. The Japanese film crew was led by Abé and was in the UK from 1973 July 24 until August 25. Here is a summary of filming activities: July 30: Bill Collins sawing wood for wash bowl; Toni & Bill dancing. July 31: Denmark Street - Badfinger rehearsing "Shine On"; Toni's fitting of wedding dress. August 2: Erecting tent for wedding reception party. August 4: Wedding ceremony in Hampstead at 10AM. Party from 7:00PM to 4:00AM August 7: Pete filmed at work in his room. August 10: BBC In Concert (Hippodrome) rehearsals: 3:30 to 6:30 PM; recording: 9:00 to 10:30PM. August 11-12: On location in Liverpool. August 13: On location in Burnley. August 14-15: On location in Swansea.
