Amazing South Australian birding, and I didn't even have to leave the car.

In this birding adventure I am joined by my good mate Tilly, my beautiful cattle dog. I have fixed the camera to the car door, hence the name "birding through the car window" and we head out into rural South Australia in search of birds plus whatever wildlife we can find. Despite the windy conditions we had some amazing encounters with varying species of birds all without having to step out the car. A pair of love struck Galahs, a wind swept Red Backed Kingfisher, a family of nesting White Winged Choughs, a group of social Dusky Woodswallows and a spectacular encounter with a Whistling Kite. Oh, yeah and a special encounter with a Hairy Nosed Wombat. Hope you enjoy this video and the amazing wildlife encounters.
