I wanted to do a new step-by-step guide on how I get my Strawberry Blonde hair at home, for all you color DIY - ers! I also get a ton of questions on how I get my extensions to match and blend, so I've added a whole part at the end that also covers that in detail. My hair has gotten a lot more grey and white over the years, so I have changed my formula ever so slightly to make sure I get full grey coverage. This is a very detailed guide to exact how I mix and apply my color and my exact formula. I do want to mention, please feel free to experiment with your own formula. Everyone's starting color will be a little different, so what works for me might need to be tweaked by 1/4 ounce here or there. I probably colored my hair and tweaked the formula at least ten times before I truly loved the results. Please also note that I am not a licensed cosmetologist, just a gal who has tried a ton of at-home formulas. So I can not give any color advice for what your formula should be.
