She has had 23 reconstructive surgeries throughout her life, and bears the scars on her face because of them. Growing up was difficult for Isabella, as her peers would call her names and say she 'looked scary' on one half of her face. Though she struggled with her image in the past, today Isabella has gone above and beyond accepting who she is.
