The first few scenes to Season 8 Episode 1: The Siege Part 1 A handsome and mysterious stranger drives down the road and witnesses Alexis's car drive off the bridge, and into the water. Sean jumps in after her. Meanwhile at the Carrington mansion, Blake and his family and staff are held hostage by Peruvian thugs working for Matthew. Blake screams at Matthew demanding their freedom. Back at the lake the stranger rescues Alexis from the river below. He gets shocked when he takes a look at her face. Kristina worry if they’ll take Krystle away, but Blake says that won’t happen. Steven tries to tell Danny that Matthew won’t hurt anyone. Alone in the library, Matthew suffers a migraine and drinks a Peruvian potion to ease the pain. Note: This is James Healey’s first appearance on Dynasty.
