Bad Surf In Bali Isn't That Bad - The Bukit, 4 February 2019

January provided some great waves, but it seems that run has come to an end. There wasn't much swell on offer today, so it was off to a bit of a swell magnet on the Bukit to see what could be scraped together for a clip. My low expectations were appropriately met with shoulder high, not quite offshore waves. The waves in Bali can be worse than this, but not by a whole lot, which isn't such a bad deal. If you know where to look there's usually somewhere to get a wave like this even with the most bleak swell/wind combo. Plus the sun showed enough of its sunny face between the big dark clouds for some decent light.
