Follow along as mustang "Resza" (pronounced like Risa) is gentled with low-stress yet efficient training techniques in preparation for the six month ridden challenge organized by the Mustang Heritage Foundation and in partnership with the US Forest Service. About Resza: Resza is a four-year-old grulla mustang mare, gathered from the Triple B, Nevada HMA. About Hannah: Hannah has devoted over thirteen years to learning kind and effective training techniques to help countless untouched equines become willing partners for people around the world. She is a passionate student with many mentors, but the most notable are the horses, mules, and donkeys themselves. To better understand wild horse behavior and psychology, she has traveled and studied herds in their natural environments around the globe. As a competitor in the American 100-day competitions, she has three Mustang and Burro Challenge Championship titles, along with seven Reserve Championships. Her expertise with feral horses has earned her recognition in Europe, where she has had the honor to partake in the Germany Mustang Makeover as a guest presenter, competitor, or judge for more than four years. Beyond her interest in the wild ones, she further specializes as an international liberty clinician, sharing her knowledge with hundreds of students and their horses. To further explore her horsemanship journey and build an even closer connection with two of her personal mustangs and a burro, she covered a continuous 750 miles in various terrains treeless, bitless, and barefoot. She’s excited to see where her love for wild horses will continue to lead her.
