One of the tracks from a hypothetical, fanmade, expanded edition of ‘VeggieTunes: A Queen, A King and a Very Blue Berry’. What if the ‘VeggieTunes’ albums were expanded with bonus tracks? What if the album's original tracks were remixed and re-arranged to include a little extra? What if these "expanded editions" featured material that had been previously unreleased? The idea for this was primarily inspired by anthology albums from popular bands and such, as well as certain albums getting reissues (generally for anniversaries) featuring tracks like early demos of songs, non-album singles, alt versions, and overall rarities. I’ve always felt that the VeggieTales albums, especially the 'VeggieTunes' series in particular, had some untapped potential, and as long as I was planning on reimagining the albums in my own way, I figured going about it like this would be a tangible option. I made these mixes in part to give a rough idea of how I would have wanted these tracks to sound hypothetically, but also as a means of having some of these songs/versions/mixes available on YouTube to some capacity, for listening & playlist convenience. I'm going to focus on uploading tracks that are either not on the original album, or are unique mixes of tracks from the original album. Song Info: ‘The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps’ [From 'The End of Silliness?'] A custom mix combining elements of every existing version of 'The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps', including the various album versions, and audio from the commercially available video versions. This particular silly song has always been one of the most inconsistent in terms of the sound design with every release both in video and album, so I took it upon myself to remediate it with a version that finally bodes well with me. Changes for this version: The thermometer SFX has been rearranged to match it's video audio counterpart, with it's instance replaced with the penicillin SFX, absent from any album release. The over the phone VO is now fully integrated. And finally, the mysterious door opening SFX(?) that ONLY appears on the original 'A Queen, A King, and a Very Blue Berry' album has been replaced with the jangling bear trap SFX, present in most streaming releases of the song. The 1998-2000 teddy roaring SFX also remains intact in this version, as opposed to basically every other album release. This is a non-profit, 'demonstrative' fan-project exclusive to YouTube. All rights go to Big Idea. Additionally, this video is intended for General Audiences. It was not made for kids.
