How to Pick Fiber for Natural Dyeing ​⁠

I’ll go over what you need to know to head into most yarn shops and select your fiber for dyeing at home. Whether you’ll be giving the yarn as a gift or using it to knit, crochet, weave or other fiber craft, here are all the things you should know to select yarn that will get you the best results! I’ll cover animal fibers like sheep wool, alpaca and mohair as well as plant fibers like cotton. Natural dyeing is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, reduce water pollution and add your own spin to your textile projects.
