This is Part II of a series of videos showing how I build up a used PowerEdge R710 server for use as a FreeNAS or UNRAID server. In Part II, I replace some missing HDD trays and clean up their appearances by removing the old labels. I then remove the old RAID card, SAS cables, and cache battery. In its place, I upgrade it with a H200 IT mode HBA card flashed with LSI IT firmware and the appropriate subsystem ID that allows it to work in the integrated storage slot.
