The Department of Homeland Security confirmed to Fox News that the next "Alligator Alcatraz" ICE detention enter will be coming soon to Miami Correctional Facility and will be branded as the “Speedway Slammer." DHS Secretary Kristi Noem posted on X: COMING SOON to Indiana: The Speedway Slammer. Today, we’re announcing a new partnership with the state of Indiana to expand detention bed space by 1,000 beds. Avoid arrest and self deport now using the @CBP Home App. "Alligator Alcatraz," the immigration detention facility in the Florida Everglades, opened in July with a capacity of about 2,000 detainees, which will eventually go up to 4,000.
