Final Fantasy VIII is one of the most contentious and controversial games in the Final Fantasy series. As the follow up to the colossal hit Final Fantasy 7, FF8 had a LOT to live up to....and tried to go in a new direction. The moody protagonist, Squall Leonhart was thrust into leadership as Balamb Garden went to war with The Sorceress. This is my favorite video game of all time, and it has been an incredibly intense ride to make this video. Squaresoft (now SquareEnix) did an incredible job in giving one of the wildest stories in the franchise...those who don't get it..tend to HATE it..but those of us who just...got it...absolutely LOVE this game. There seems to be very little middle ground. Thanks for watching as i go through the game and tell my story and how the game has impacted me.
