#PandaStory: When Xiao Qi Ji and Mei Xiang went out this morning Mei Xiang went straight out to a treat feeder in Yard 2 so the keepers had Qi Ji move to Yard 1 for his morning treats. Afterward he was seen eating a bamboo shoot, getting treats from a feeder, eating bamboo, and climbing the keeper fence. He and Mei did see each other through the Howdy Window a few times, and they were not apart nearly as long as yesterday. When the door was opened, they both went to the other side to see what they might have missed ... and it didn't appear to be each other! The next major scene shown is Xiao Qi Ji and Mei Xiang getting bamboo shoots. Mei Xiang noticed a rather large one and went for it ... and Qi Ji wanted it so he persevered in following Mei and finally got it from her. At one point she got it away from Qi Ji but he got it back and was able to finish it. Just before 10am they were in yard 1's salad patch and Qi Ji became curious about the hot wire on the rock wall, and it triggered. Off he ran and Mei was quick to follow him, and she stayed close to him for quite awhile afterward, even when he went up his evergreen in yard 2. Qi Ji had a long nap after that, so the next scene happened around 2pm when Qi Ji draped himself over Mei Xiang at the pool ... he wanted to nurse. After following Mei around for a bit, she stopped by the door between the rooms and he nursed for about 15+ minutes, after which Qi Ji fell asleep atop the rockwork.
