Famed for the majestic chalk cliffs of Beachy Head, that form just part of the South Downs, it also has a grand line of Victorian hotels on it's seafront. Eastbourne Beach is just part of a 6.4km stretch of beach that goes from Sovereign Harbour to Beach Head and although it is mostly shingle. it is one of the longest beaches in Britain.
