[23:35] Music composed & arranged by Mamoru Nagano Vocals by Mamoru Nagano (2), Maria Kawamura (2, 4, 6) Scans & rip by me, scan fixing by anisonfan Third image album released for Nagano's Five Star Stories manga. A while back I started a fansub project for a rare VHS which was essentially a behind-the-scenes documentary for this album—music from the CD is used throughout the tape. Besides me thinking some of the music sounded neat, the CD has no public rips online to my knowledge, so I sought out a copy to change that. Having actually listened to this in full... I have mixed feelings about it. The only other album I've ever listened to that Nagano composed & performed was the GEAR ROBOT OST—now, that album? It's pretty good! I kinda bought this image album thinking it'd sound just as good. This is mostly experimental music... maybe noise, too? There's bits of pop & rock in it though. I don't know my genres all too well. In any case, it being experimental might already push people away from checking this out. The CD starts off pretty well with its starting track. Track 2's vibes reminds me a lot of the music from GEAR ROBOT. Track 3 absolutely goes HARD as fuck, and track 6 equally matches that same vibe & is a banger track that finishes the album off on a good note, methinks. Tracks 4 & 5 were truly the only tracks on here I didn't like. Track 4's instrumentals sound like someone trying to make music for the first time 🤡 and track 5... track 5 is tragic. It actually starts off pretty well but I don't even know what the fuck goes on half-way through. I like the way it ends though, it sounds cool. There were more good tracks on here than bad ones, so in the end, I wouldn't advise people not to check it out, but they should approach with caution unless they already like experimental music anyways. Nevertheless, enjoy!
